Welcome to my profile! My name is Amanda Slinger — also known as the Wordslinger — and I'm a freelance editor in sunny Saskatoon, SK. I spend most of my time editing, proofreading, painting, writing and translating documents from French to English. I earned high honours from the University of Saskatchewan for a B.A. Honours in English with a minor in French, and I am well on my way to completing the Editing Certificate from Simon Fraser University. In addition, I'm currently studying psycholinguistics — or the psychology of language — at the U of S. At its best, communication is clear and concise without sacrificing creativity.
